What’s New in Projectmates?

Support for International Languages

Projectmates 10.2, scheduled for release very soon, will support most written languages in use today. Projectmates users across the globe will be able to input and access information in their language of choice.

Cash Flow Forecasting

This new budgeting tool helps you time your cash flow requirements. Mathematically plotted on an S-Curve, the cash flow forecast shows the cumulative percentage of budget funds to be paid out at various points during a project. The cash flow forecast can reduce overhead significantly from interest payments alone. For example, if you know most funds will be paid out between months 10 and 20 of a project, you can reduce interest payments by securing a loan when you’ll actually need the funds. Because some months require higher payouts, the forecasting tool can also help make provisions for difficult times before they arrive.

Easy Access to Public Bids

We’ve simplified the bid process for contractors and subcontractors. Requested by many A/E/C firms and retail clients, the new public bid room allows contractors to view published bids without needing a Projectmates login ID and password. Only after a contractor adds a bid will he sign up in Projectmates. As with Projectmates V10.0, using Projectmates Bid Manager lets you effortlessly publish and manage bids online. This tool allows you to include bid documents for online viewing, answer contractor questions, receive and compare electronic bids, and award contracts.

Projectmates Integrates OxBlue's Webcams

Just when we thought our project homepage couldn’t get smarter and slicker, we’ve gone and done it again. This time we’ve integrated Projectmates with OxBlue webcams. Owners and project executives already equipped with Projectmates now have the added ability to be virtually present at any jobsite, seeing the construction happen in real time with up-to-date progress pictures.

The integration brings the best of construction management software and construction cameras into one Web-based application.
