Projectmates Data Exchange

Projectmates provides budgeting, contracting, invoicing, and purchasing modules among its extensive repertoire of over 35 different module. It is a great way to track project costs collaboratively. However, it is sometimes necessary to exchange data between Projectmates and other accounting software to avoid duplicate entries and data entry errors.

Projectmates Data Exchange model allows bridging Projectmates and 3rd party applications. For example, when project manager approves Change Orders in Projectmates the 3rd party accounting software can be updated to note the new cost application so avoid duplicate entries and data entry errors.

In most situations the data sharing using can be done instantaneously using web services or HTTP post. It is also possible to do data exchange using older technology such as FTP file transfer. Projectmates supports data exchange using verity of formats such as XML, comma separated, fix-width flat file, etc.

The exchange format and specification are developed by the client with assistance from our product development team. Projectmates has data exchange model available for 3rd party applications such as Microsoft® Dynamics©, Oracle® E-Business Suite Financials, Oracle® PeopleSoft© and more.
