The Power of Data in Construction
Data is the backbone of the construction industry. Every day, the industry produces over 2.5 million terabytes of data. But, according to a Deloitte study, 60% of that data goes unused. Projectmates users are bucking this trend. A recent Dodge Construction Network study found 93% of users reported improved data timeliness and accuracy. Mike Schwinn, Director of Client Relations, explained how Projectmates enables proactive decisions that ensure project success.
Exciting New Tools and Updates
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of Projectmates’ new AI-enabled Drawings Tool, designed to revolutionize document management. This tool allows for seamless tracking of drawing sets, automated processing of revisions, and enhanced collaboration through real-time annotations. Marcus Bliss, Assistant Director of Operations, demonstrated the tool’s capabilities, including version comparisons and role-based permissions to ensure secure access.
In addition to the Drawings Tool, several platform-wide updates were showcased, including improvements to the mobile experience and enhancements to the budget tool, like the ability to create and compare budget snapshots.
Announcing the 25th Anniversary User Conference in Las Vegas
Sharon Peterson, from the client relations team, shared exciting details about the upcoming Projectmates User Conference. This year’s event, held in Las Vegas at the luxurious Fontainebleau Resort, will offer two full days of learning, networking, and celebrating. Attendees can expect small-group discussions, interactive sessions, and a chance to shape the future of Projectmates by participating in a features roundtable.
